Formula 1 enthusiasts were used to weather disturbances in Japan (storm typhoons). This time it is an unexpected guest who plays the spoils. It is the volcano Ontake whose eruption last week caused the death of several hikers.

These fears were raised by a German newspaper, recalling that the Suzuka circuit is only 200 km from the volcano. Due to the clouds of ash many flights are disturbed in the area (delays, cancellations). These disruptions could affect the attendance of staff of the stables.

The Japanese authorities, however, are reassuring and hope that all teams will arrive in time for the first free practice next Friday. On the level of the weather, nothing abnormal, Suzuka has seen worse, even if we are not safe from surprises. It is expected a bit of rain on Friday and the big sun for the rest of the weekend.

No need to go to Japan for a driving course. There is no shortage of training opportunities at LRS Formula.
