Step up a level with the F1 Experience Silver and take the wheel of the Prost AP-04 V10, a genuine Formula 1 car powered by a V10 engine producing up to 780 horsepower. Fully liveried in its race configuration, the Prost AP-04 gives you an experience as close as it gets to Formula 1. The chassis and engine are kept in their original configuration so you can discover the sensations and performance of a single-seater built for racing.

An introduction before taking the wheel

As with all our programmes, your experience begins with a familiarisation session in a Formula 4 (F4). With its Mygale M14-F4 chassis, carbon monocoque, 6-speed sequential gearbox and advanced aerodynamics, this single-seater is the ideal first step to get used to the demands of circuit driving. You can work on your racing lines, braking and reference points before discovering the full power of the Prost AP-04.

After this first taste, it is time for the real Formula 1. Settle into the seat of the Prost AP-04 V10 and discover a machine producing up to 780 horsepower. The power of the V10 engine, the aerodynamic grip and the performance of this single-seater will take your driving to another dimension. Every acceleration, every braking zone and every corner becomes a unique experience at the wheel of a Formula 1 car built for performance.

An experience on the Magny-Cours Grand Prix circuit

This driving experience takes place on the Grand Prix circuit at Nevers Magny-Cours (Nièvre), home of the French Formula 1 Grand Prix from 1991 to 2008, a layout that offers ideal conditions to make the most of the Prost AP-04’s performance. At LRS Formula, our Formula 1 cars run without a pace car in front of them. You can therefore make full use of your car’s potential and concentrate on your driving, your racing lines and your sensations. Throughout your experience, our experienced instructors give you personalised advice to help you progress and get the best out of the circuit and the car. Our technicians, for their part, take care of preparing the cars and keeping them running perfectly so you can enjoy this experience in the best possible conditions.

Step back into the 2001 season with the Prost AP04-V10, the last single-seater in Prost Grand Prix’s Formula 1 history. Designed under the direction of Henri Durand and Loïc Bigois, it was driven by Jean Alesi, Gastón Mazzacane and then Heinz-Harald Frentzen.

Powered by a 3.0-litre Peugeot V10 producing nearly 780 hp, the AP04 combines a carbon chassis, a 7-speed sequential gearbox and the aerodynamic efficiency typical of early 2000s F1 cars.

The last car from the team founded by Alain Prost, it marks the end of a French adventure at the highest level of motorsport.

Après 2 ans, me voilà de retour à Magny cours et cette fois ci sur le Grand Circuit. Accueil, conseils, tout est fait pour nous mettre dans les meilleures dispositions pour vivre ces moments uniques au volant de monoplace de très grande qualité. Problème technique, de casse ou autre, zéro problème, l'équipe se décarcasse pour nous trouver des solutions et vivre notre rêve de grand enfant. Qu'une chose à écrire: MERCI et à très vite car c'est addictif :-)

Part 1/2 In terms of the actual experience, I had a fantastic day—I can’t fault that at all. However, from an organizational standpoint, it was a complete joke. Things went wrong right from the start leading up to the Formula 1 experience; there was a "gift box" that had been sent but couldn't be located, and I received absolutely no support or assistance while trying to track it down. I had to figure everything out—and I mean *everything*—entirely on my own, including finding out where the gift box had ended up (they couldn't even provide me with a tracking number). As a result, I spent nearly two weeks working full-time, day in and day out, trying to trace the package. Then, after I managed to track down the gift box (entirely on my own initiative), it turned out to be incomplete: - A memory stick was missing (I still don't actually know what its purpose was). - It contained a voucher for three Formula 1 laps, whereas I had booked and paid for four. Furthermore, the plan was to receive the necessary information about two weeks prior to the event. It was supposed to include useful information such as the schedule, arrival times and locations, a request for clothing sizes, an outline of what to expect on the day, and so on. However, that email never arrived; eventually, five days beforehand, I reached out myself to ask what the plan was. But here is the worst part. When booking, I paid an extra fee to have an onboard video recorded. On the day itself, just before getting into the car, my girlfriend and I were already concerned about whether the video would actually happen (since there was no camera mounted on the car at all). The absence of that video would have had disastrous financial consequences for both me and my sponsor. The sponsorship agreement included a penalty clause stating that if I failed to provide the onboard video to my sponsor, he would no longer be required to provide financial support for the experience, and I would have to pay a penalty of €5,000. Despite mentioning this—both my girlfriend and I did so—to two separate LRS Formula staff members no fewer than eight times right up until the moment of boarding, we were assured that the onboard video would be taken care of (and we had explicitly explained the consequences to the staff members in question several times).
