What happens in bad weather?
Formula Renault: if it rains, the driving experience naturally goes ahead. Our cars are set up to run in the rain and on a wet track. In extreme conditions (snow, severe weather), your experience will be postponed. Even in the rain, it will be an unforgettable experience!
As for Formula 1 driving experiences, driving in the rain is dangerous for both drivers and cars! So, for your safety and that of our team, we reserve the right to postpone the experience to a later date of your choice, subject to the calendar.
Do I need previous track experience?
No, no previous track experience is needed to take part in an LRS FORMULA driving experience.
Our programmes are designed to let enthusiasts, whether beginners or experienced drivers, progressively discover what it takes to drive a Formula 1 car.
Before taking the wheel of a Formula 1 car, you start with an introduction in a Formula Renault 2.0. These 200 hp single-seaters help you get to grips with the specifics of circuit driving: racing lines, braking, acceleration, aerodynamics and single-seater handling.
Which Formula 1 cars can I drive?
Depending on the programme and circuit chosen, you can drive several Formula 1 cars that have genuinely been part of the sport’s history.
Prost AP-04: Built for the 2001 Formula 1 World Championship season, the Prost AP04 is offered by LRS in several engine configurations suited to driving experiences.
Depending on the programme chosen, it can be fitted with a Cosworth V8 or a V10.
Benetton B198: The Benetton B198 is a genuine Formula 1 car designed for the 1998 season.
It was raced in Grands Prix by Alexander Wurz and Giancarlo Fisichella. For LRS driving experiences, it is now fitted with a Cosworth V8 engine.
Williams FW32: The Williams FW32 belongs to the 2010 generation of Cosworth V8-powered Formula 1 cars.
It was raced by Rubens Barrichello and Nico Hülkenberg.
Sauber C29: The Sauber C29 is also a Formula 1 car from the 2010 season.
It was driven by Nick Heidfeld, Pedro de la Rosa and Kamui Kobayashi.
Are LRS FORMULA cars genuine Formula 1 cars?
Yes. LRS Formula offers genuine Formula 1 cars, each with its own history in the Formula 1 World Championship.
These are not replicas or single-seaters built simply to look like an F1 car.
The collection includes the Prost AP-04, Benetton B198, Williams FW32 and Sauber C29, single-seaters from genuine Formula 1 programmes that raced in the 1990s and 2000s.
So you really are sitting in a genuine historic Formula 1 car.
