Participation requirements
Discover our most complete experience and immerse yourself in the world of Formula 1 on the Club circuit at Nevers Magny-Cours (Nièvre), part of the complex that hosted the French Formula 1 Grand Prix. In a single day, you drive a Formula 4 (F4), ride in a three-seater Formula 1 and drive a Formula 1. The day starts with two F4 sessions before moving on to three laps in a Formula 1; you then finish with a passenger ride in a three-seater Formula 1 driven by a professional driver.
Three different stages
The first is the introduction at the wheel of an F4; you will get used to driving a single-seater so that you fully understand the racing lines and the speed.
Next, you move on to performance by taking the wheel of a Prost AP-04, a Benetton B198 or an Arrows A19. During these three laps, you will feel all the forces that make these single-seaters such exceptional machines.
And to finish, you will get your thrills aboard a three-seater Formula 1 driven by a professional driver. This experience lets you feel the full capabilities of a Formula 1, this time as a passenger.
During your driving sessions, our Formula 1 cars run without a pace car in front of you, so you can make the most of your experience and concentrate on your racing lines and your sensations. Throughout the day, our teams are by your side to help you progress and enjoy every stage of your experience in the best possible conditions.
The cars
Step back into the 2001 season with the Prost AP04, the last single-seater entered by Prost Grand Prix in Formula 1. A historic car, driven in turn by Jean Alesi, Gastón Mazzacane and Heinz-Harald Frentzen, that carries the final pages of the French team’s story.
Powered by a Cosworth V8 producing around 650 hp, the AP04 combines a carbon chassis, a 7-speed sequential gearbox and a design built to meet the demands of motorsport at the highest level.
From the experience of Jean Alesi to the arrival of Heinz-Harald Frentzen, this single-seater was there for Prost Grand Prix’s final laps in Formula 1.
Take your seat in a car steeped in history and feel the intensity of a genuine early 2000s F1.
Discover the Benetton B198, an iconic single-seater of the 1998 season, designed by Rory Byrne and developed with Ross Brawn’s engineering. Powered by a Playlife V10 producing around 780 hp, it was driven by Jean Alesi and Alexander Wurz on the world championship circuits.
But the B198 has a special story at LRS Formula: Laurent Redon, the team’s founder, was a reserve and test driver for Benetton and took part in developing the car. His work was praised at the time by the team’s management, who described him as “a talented driver and a real asset for the car’s development programmes”.
With its naturally aspirated V10, carbon chassis and 7-speed sequential gearbox, the B198 takes you to the heart of late 1990s Formula 1.
Take the wheel of a single-seater that made its mark on Benetton’s history and has a unique connection with the history of LRS Formula.
Discover the Arrows A19, a single-seater that raced in Formula 1 in 1998, designed under the direction of John Barnard. With its bold design and its 3.0-litre Arrows V10, it perfectly embodies the spirit of late 1990s F1.
Driven by Mika Salo and Pedro Diniz, the A19 stood out for its technical approach and its particularly demanding character. Its carbon chassis, sequential gearbox and V10 engine make it a true Grand Prix machine.
Take your seat in a legendary F1 and discover the sensations of a late 1990s single-seater, from the days when the V10 still ruled the circuits.
